I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shahunts resort, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel's location was perfect, offering stunning views to the mountains. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a variety of options to suit everyone's requirements. Overall, Shahunts Resort exceeded our expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. We look forward to returning in the future!

The place looks like a fairly ordinary farmhouse from the outside, inside it is beautifully equipped - there is a large open lounge area for each of the rooms (I think there were seven), but as we were the only guests, it meant we had a lovely area to chill out in the evening. There is no restaurant in Odzun that I could see, but the host offered to cook us an evening meal for a very reasonable price and also made us a lovely breakfast. The views from the hotel of mountains in both directions are lovely and big windows allow you to fully appreciate them. The hotel is very much in the heart of the village - coming by car, there is good signposting from the church, and the fact that it is surrounded by farms means that it is a quiet place to sleep and relax. Hot water on tap too, which isn't always the case in Georgia.

We had a lovely stay! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, even offering us delicious homemade pastries. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed — jams, eggs, and all the essentials for cooking and BBQ. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. — perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Our stay at the aghasu tun b and b ended up being one of our favorite parts of Armenia. Amalia (sp?) was a lovely host who not only was a great chef but it was very nice to get to know her and share our love of music together. There is a communal area where we got to spend the evening with other guests who were also very lovely and showered us as well with Armenian hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Surrounding area is very beautiful (don't miss Lori fortress). Amalias garden is also really cool!

Friendly host, great breakfast, the owner even prepared dinner for me late in the evening. Excellent beds, kitchen, furniture, bathroom. Very clean. Free parking. Alaverdi is perfect location to visit the convents/churches and the canyon. If I'll ever visit Alaverdi again, I definitely will stay in this hotel again.

The hotel was opened rather recently and is located in a fundamentally but tastefully renovated building. The surroundings with the mountains are stunningly beautiful. There are also several monasteries in the region, of which two are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The staff were very nice, very friendly, very helpful, and very professional. The room was perfectly cleaned and adequately equipped, as well as adequate in size. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast served was excellent.

    If you are traveling through Lori, Odzun is a good central...

    If you are traveling through Lori, Odzun is a good central location that is safe and quiet to get some rest. There are not many places to eat in Odzun, and most markets close pretty early, if you're looking for a restaurant I would recommend heading ~15 minutes north by car to Alaverdi. Make sure to visit Odzun church and enjoy the beautiful nature.

    Perched in mountains it has breathtaking views, a forest to explore, go berry picking and horse riding. For those who love hikes and uphill walks, visiting Odzun is a must. A poignantly fresh air and misty weather in the mornings gives a break from urban pollution and noise. The pintree alley up the hill and into the forest is a local attraction.
