It is a humble village house in the mountains with amazing hosts. We arrived late but the elderly couple waited for us, sat and talked and made a feast of their homemade produce. It's nothing fancy, but a very authentic experiece that will definitelly become one of the highlights of our trip to Armenia.

Delightful host and so friendly and welcoming. Showed us how they gather honey as a family in the traditional way! Stunning wooden house, the photos don't even do it justice. Friendly dog and cat neighbours.

The house is truly charming, built in wood with large bay windows offering breathtaking views of the magnificent mountains. You immediately feel connected to the surrounding nature. A big thank you to the whole family for their warm welcome: to Artyom’s father, who drove us up in his 4x4, giving us an amazing experience on those winding roads, always with good humor and a smile; and to Artyom and his wife for the delicious dinner and the wonderful visit to Smbataberd. lovely house, beautiful view of the mountain and the valley. It is an authentic Armenian house, the owners live down the street and are helpful and hospitable. IDeal starting point to visit Tatev, Noravank and to take beautiful mountain walks.

We went to Areni for the wine festival, and had the pleasure of staying here! Amazing family, Martin was extremely nice and helpful and his father gave us a tasting of the wines they make! The location is great, next to a market and an atm. The terrace is also amazing!

It’s our first time in Armenia, and this region has amazed us — both with its beautiful autumn nature and this charming hotel. Cherry Garden Hotel was a true discovery in this small town: perfectly clean, with a wonderful staff and a rich, delicious breakfast all in one place. We’ll definitely come back here during the cherry blossom season!

This place is a paradise that you don't hope to find in Armenia! The location is stunning - it is quiet, you are surrounded by nature, and it is beautiful scenery throughout the day. The facilities are spotless clean and everything is taken care with love, every small detail, everywhere you look. Every decoration is interesting, and the interior is very unique. We didn't expect it to be this great, but hands down, this is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed anywhere on our travels. The kitchen has everything you need. The bathrooms are very clean and new. Towels and sheets smell amazing. There are plenty of areas where to hang around inside, and they are all beautiful. We especially loved the swing above the place - what a perfect spot. The owner - another level of hospitality. He was always very attentive and making sure you were fine. We were gifted by the most delicious strawberries and pastries from his wife, and we were allowed to eat the berries that grew there. Not to mention, we shared coffee and nuts together and watched the most beautiful thunderstorm we have ever seen. We decided to stay extra (3rd) night, and needed to load our groceries, so he took us to the shop and back in the cleanest car we have ever seen 😍 The kittens in the yard are so lovely, and the husky dog Taiga is very sweet also. For the third night, we moved to the smaller house that is designed by the owner, and it is so authentic and cosy, you feel like you are staying in the countryside with 5 star hotel facilities. I could go on and on about this place, you have to come and experience it by yourself. This is not to be missed if you are in the area.
