Fantastic location, the hotel is overlooking the amazing and huge gorge. Views from there are stunning. We had a quadruple room (which can actually host 5 people: 3 single beds and 1 king bed) with a balcony. Lovely restaurant on sight. It is also within the walking distance from the observation point on the cliff.

Waw !!! The best BnB ever !!! A real one, were you stay at a family, in their house, with them, share dinner and breakfast together like if you are a family member. Of course it means you share the bathroom, of course it means you don't have full privacy like when you stay in a hôtel but if it's what you're looking for, then go to a hotel. But if you're looking for sharing and meeting new friends for real, then definitively go there ! Bonus: view on the mountain on the terrasse and delicious home made food !! Wonderfull, thank you so much !!

Clean comfortable apartment, great location, Great breakfest with local dishis. Private parking. Frendly owner who gave a lot of information! Upon arrival we were greeted by smiling hosts who welcomed us with a wonderful dinner with local products. we tried the aveluk they prepare themselves, what a discovery! they offered us their homemade vodka and wine which were perfect. we felt like we were staying with a family we didn't know about. highly recommend! you won't go wrong.

Beautiful location and the hosts are amazing. The husband gave me a private tour of their yard which basically supplies all of the food that they made for us. I'm writing this review even before checking out because I just feel compelled to share! <3

I really loved The Ranch! The room is actually a cozy little house, very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfy. Excellent bathroom as well, with good water pressure from the shower. All the staff were so nice, always greeting you with a smile. Even if they don’t speak english, you will manage just fine with them. The manager though does speak perfect english and you can reach her on the phone through her staff if you need any help and she will be on site as well throughout the day. They serve a fresh and delicious breakfast every morning and good and tasty dinners as well. The location is nice but only if you have a car to move around as it’s a bit distant from the town or nearest stores. There are animals in the property (a dog, some rabbits and some chickens as well). Keep that in mind as some of them might interrupt your sleep at night / early morning but nothing serious, it’s “a ranch” anyway so that is totally expected.

A nice and comfortable hotel in the very beginning of Shinuhayr. Argam was very friendly, warm and hospitable host who was ready to help in any situation. We stayed in an admirable and clean room with private bathroom, television and good WiFi connection. There is a shared kitchen with all needed utilities - refrigerator and washing machine. The host has a market with food and other stuff on the first floor of the hotel - so we could purchase even a phone charger cable. We had a wonderful breakfast in the morning. When it comes to location, it's a good spot to spend the night and move on to Tatev Wings ropeway which is approximately 7-8 minutes drive and about 3 km. When I come to Shinuhayr again I will definitely stay in Alex hotel and recommend it to my friends.

    The weather can be unpredictable, so it's important to pack warm clothes and shoes. Be prepared for rainy weather as well. The restaurant is a great choice, offering a diverse breakfast that caters to all dietary preferences, including vegan and vegetarian options. You can rest assured that your breakfast needs will be well taken care of. There are no taxi apps, so you have to ask the staff to organize a taxi. To all the attractions, it costs about 5000 AMD ($11), and it takes about 20 minutes for a cab to arrive.

    I loved the location or the resort and I appreciated the friendly staff. The hotel restaurant was good but there are times when bus groups stop and have a meal so it is best to ask if you have a particular time you want to eat. I didn't have a problem because I didn't have a set agenda. I did not realize it would be so rainy but I still was able to get gorgeous autumn views and I really enjoyed the Wings of Tatev which weren't far but you need transportation - the hotel staff can help with that. Mostly, it was a great place to read.
