the hotel is fantastically located right at the entrance of the beautiful monastery! The rooms are authentic and clean. There was a water problem in my room, so they gave me immediately another room. Rooms are accessed from a balcony, from which there is a nice view on the monastery and the surrounding mountains. The welcome was very friendly and warm, as if you are an old friend! coffee and tea are free during your stay, a good breakfast is included. The dinner was excellent and prepared with love! The atmosphere on the hotel’s terrace is very relaxed.

The hotel opened recently, everything is new inside, the staff is very responsive and pleasant. The price includes breakfast. The room has a beautiful view of the mountains, the location of the hotel is on an international road, which is very convenient! Highly recommended!

Nestled in the iconic, picturesque nature of Armenia, Dream Hotel provided us with an exceptional stay that we will remember fondly for years to come. The staff’s dedication, the comfort of the accommodation, and the delightful homemade food all contributed to an extraordinary experience, even amidst unexpected challenges. Our stay coincided with a severe weather disaster on May 26, 2024, which caused the Debed River to flood and led to disruptions in electricity and gas. However, the hotel staff's resilience and commitment to our safety and comfort were truly remarkable. They worked tirelessly throughout the night to resolve all issues, allowing us to sleep peacefully despite the circumstances. One of the most impressive aspects of our stay was the staff's culinary skills. With nearby restaurants closed due to the crisis, they managed to prepare incredibly tasty homemade meals that made us feel at home. This resourcefulness and dedication to our satisfaction truly enhanced our stay during the challenging times. Special mention goes to the manager, who was not only instrumental in managing the emergency but also helped us find an alternative path to leave after we decided to extend our stay by an additional day. Their invaluable guidance and support showcased the hotel's commitment to its guests. Despite the challenges posed by the natural disaster, the team at Dream Hotel turned a potentially stressful situation into a smooth and memorable experience. Thanks to their exceptional service and care, we were able to fully enjoy the breathtaking surroundings of Armenia without worry. Mary and her family were the kindest and most welcoming hosts we could wish for. Right upon our arrival they offered us tea and refreshments and gave us various tips on what to see in the area.Their homemade dinners and breakfasts (served at a terrace with wonderful views) are huge and simply delicious, absolutely perfect after a whole day spent in the mountains around Haghpat. The room itself is very light and spacious, located in a house in the middle of a rural vegetable garden a few hundred meters from the monastery. In spite of our very poor knowledge of Russian, Mary's parents were always very friendly and open to talk with and fully accommodated all our wishes. We'll be very happy to come again if ever back in Armenia. Thank you! <3

Our group of friends had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was truly amazing – it provided the perfect base for exploring the area and offered a wonderful atmosphere. What really made our experience special was the incredibly lovely hostess. She was so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Her kindness truly made us feel at home. As a bonus for animal lovers, we also really enjoyed the company of the guesthouse's dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to our stay.
