We loved each and every bit about this stay.The caretakers and the beautiful view.We went with our toddler and he enjoyed it like he is in farm ..Near by walks are quite scenic ...And it's true hidden gem... A big shout-out to Irina (I forgot the name)..but she was fantastic lady who made us feel home... We just loved our stay...

Bujtina KOEL was our favourite place out of all the places we stayed on a three-week trip around Albania. The owner, Thanas, is a real gentleman and takes such pride in the place he has built, and how he looks after his guests. We arrived as guests and left as friends. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Thanas is a great chef, and teams up with a local, Nina, when needed. Together they presented us with true feasts for dinner. Thanas's homemade Raki was graciously shared with us after dinner. The location is great - it's an adventure to get to but the views are amazing. Absolutely worth visiting.

We had a fantastic stay at the villa with our kids. The location in a quiet village close to nature made it very relaxing, and the children enjoyed exploring the surroundings. The villa itself was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful touch of fresh fruits waiting for us in the fridge—it made us feel very welcome. A truly unforgettable stay! My husband and I had an amazing time during our stay. We enjoyed absolute peace and quiet, surrounded by endless greenery and right next to a historic site. The food, prepared by Gero, was absolutely delicious from traditional local dishes to his authentic pizzas, everything was full of flavor and made with care. But what truly made our experience special was the incredible team. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we definitely made new friends. A special mention goes to Agush ,unbelievably funny, full of energy, and truly the heart and soul of the hotel. He will forever have a special place in our hearts. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Everything was amazing! The place is huge and well renovated. The kitchen is fully equipped with Everything you may need to cook. The owner also left some fruit coming from his own yard which was very tasty. He also gave us some fried pancake which were super good. He was an incredibly nice and friendly host. The place is super clean and there is plenty of space for 2 people. The villa is located 10 minutes by car from Girokaster with free parking just outside the building. If you have the car I totally recommend staying here instead of Girokaster that is not very accessible by car. This is the best place I've stayed in Albania for sure. Totally recommend! Thanks again to Shpati , the owner, for his kindness!

It’s a new hotel and everything is brand new. Personnel was really friendly and helpful. View is amazing and you are only 10’ walk from city center. Easy access if you arrive by car. But best thing was the breakfast!

The family who run the hotel are so lovely. They helped us find the hotel and navigate the very steep roads. Theu provided parkinf and no need to use your car whilst there as they offer a really helpful free taxi service where they drive you into the town and pick up for free up until 11pm. The rooms were clean and traditional and they were also well maintained with good facilities. I would recommend anyone who wants to see Gjirokaster and visit the castle and town to stay at this hotel! I think the people who run the hotel really made this experience!
