Normally, Booking.com does me a dirty when booking places. I booked one night here and ended up staying for five. Upon my arrival I was met by staff and offered bag carrying. There is free parking out front ( snow brush and ice scraper available) or for 11 euros per night there is a garage. I had two dogs with me who slept in the vehicle, this was not an issue as all rooms are not road facing, if they had barked it would not have disturbed anyone. Just a two minute walk up the road is a trail to the river and park. Elleven minutes drive is Ordino Arcalis ski resort ( also free parking). My room had a heated floor, verypowerful shower that maintained a constant temperature always, big double bed, large TV with all apps, USB and plug sockets each side of the bed. Room has a fridge. The hotel's wifi is fast with a strong connection. Plenty of very nice towels, robes also at no additional charge ( makes a nice change). The room has a thermostat which has very little lag on bringing the temperature up or down, impressive in a large room. The cleaner is exceptionally thorough and the room was turned out beautifully every day even down to mopping the floors. The staff are totally on point, super helpful and accommodating. They arranged the veterinary appointment for my dogs travel back to UK at no extra charge also. My medical conditions ( allergies) were taken into consideration and my room allocated away from the restaurant ( note I did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment outside of breakfast). My room had a lovelly balcony with views down the valley and of the river cascading down the rocks. The Spa: I used this twice. Once it was busy and quite noisy and another time I had the place to myself which was Bliss. The Spa was an additional fee for 90minute session. The hot stone beds being my favourite. I spent an hour on one ( there are four) listening to audio books.

Our stay at Blackpine couldn’t have been better. The location is perfect, just a few meters from the main street. Javier and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely made us feel at home. The room was beautiful, stylish, spotless and modern. We booked the private spa for €50, and it was amazing: very clean and the jacuzzi was so big it felt like a pool. The paid parking with valet service was also a great plus, making everything really easy and stress-free. We’d definitely go back and recommend Blackpine to anyone. Ideally located, a little removed from this noisy and polluting traffic artery. Having stayed in Andorra a dozen times, this is by far the best hotel. At least you don't have a view of the road or another building like all the other hotels, and what a pleasure to be able to park your car without the hassle of other accommodations.

In summer it's a great place, but you have to drive to get...

In summer it's a great place, but you have to drive to get to La Massana, and you're right on a bend in the road. Walking requires a good level of fitness, with constant ups and downs. Be careful in winter if it's snowed; the road is quite challenging, and you might need to put on snow chains to get to the hotel.

A really pretty hotel in a very pretty location. It was comfortable and spacious. Has a mini fridge with some extra chargeable drinks (one provided for free). Nice little pool. We didn’t use the spa as I think it’s an extra charge. It’s a 5 mins drive into the town centre.

Everything. This was a wonderful hotel. Very comfortable room and beds, staff were attentive, efficient and professional and the food was delicious (we were half-board). The view from our room and balcony was breathtaking.
