We stayed in the guest house and absolutely loved it! The location is very convenient — almost in the center, and only about 1–1.5 hours’ drive to Reykjavik, waterfalls, geysers, and the beach. The place was clean, warm, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed — a hairdryer, straightener, a bean-to-cup coffee machine, a Ninja multi-grill, and a dishwasher. The living room has a stunning panoramic view — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with the sunshine ☀️ The Wi-Fi is super fast, too. It was also really thoughtful that the hosts provided shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover wipes, and even some feminine products — such a nice touch! There’s also a hot tub with warm water, which was a great bonus after a day of exploring.

Location was amazing. The place was pure luxury, from the beautiful crockery to the soft bedding. Warm and comfy. Staff/Owners were respectful and there if you needed anything at all.

Stunning facilities with the secret lagoon on your literal doorstep. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and, during my stay, was well maintained by both the guests using it and the staff. The room was spotless, the staff clearly go to a lot of trouble to ensure the highest degree of cleanliness. I've stayed in 5-star accommodation that pales in comparison to this place.

Thank you for the wonderful experience in your beautiful, stylish house. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was perfect. Everything was tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The house was easy to find, and the keys were ready for us. It was warm and cozy inside — we immediately felt at home. The beds were very comfortable with pleasant bed linen. The kitchen was well equipped, with coffee, tea, basic ingredients, and neatly organized food items available for use. We had complete peace and quiet since we were there alone with our family, but it was a nice touch to see earplugs thoughtfully provided. Thank you for this lovely experience during our trip — we highly recommend your place to everyone!

Absolutely loved this place! Stunning views and serenity, so peaceful and quiet. Has everything you need and is clean and tidy. Nice and warm inside. We got lucky with the clouds and saw the northern lights from here. Also woke up to a foot of fresh snow one morning… and another foot or more of snow the next morning so I’d advise if you are getting a car rental in Iceland definitely opt for a 4x4 or AWD! The roads can be almost impassable when there’s a big dump of snow. But this cabin is superb, we would love to come back one day.

With far-reaching views towards Eyjafjallajökull, this guest house offers horse riding tours and homemade food. Selfoss is only 40 km away, and the iconic Gullfoss waterfall is only 52 km away.
