It's as advertised. Very calm and peaceful. A lot of animals. Bespoke architecture and a keen attention to details. If you have a thought in your mind like "It would have been good to have x", it'll be there. We had a great game drive in the afternoon, both enjoyable and educational! Tried the braai, also very good. Taking out a canoe on the dam on a still morning - amazing! Just watch out for the rhinos, the female gets annoyed...

Everything was spotless and fully equipped, both in the kitchen and the living area, so you feel at home right away. Communication beforehand was friendly, quick and reliable, and there was always someone available on site in case any questions came up. You have plenty of privacy and the surrounding nature is stunning with a small pond where you can watch animals. At night you get an impressive sky full of stars that feels almost unreal. Overall it is a very charming and thoughtfully managed place.
