Absolutely stunning accommodation and the farm. Not cheap but definitely worth it. Fully self-catered, but very well thought-of and taken care of to the very little detail. All the extras such as beer or wine or extra wood are available in the house or from the farm shop. Rooms are beautiful and beds are super comfortable. Pre-ordered meal boxes are very carefully packed and it’s a real pleasure unpacking them and cooking. Morning safari is done by the host who is very friendly and welcoming. Rhinos and all the animals are there and can’t be missed, kids and adults had such a lot of fun and great time during the whole stay. Definitely highly recommended to all who values good balance of nature and true comfort.

Fabulous tents so well equipped and great to be on edge of dam, although very noisy with birds. Great food and staff. Good to see the wildlife conservation, went to see lions being fed

Our stay was really incredible. The rooms were very comfortable with a nice design. We had 4 great safaris and we spotted 4 of the big 5. The meals were very good, original, with a twist. The chef is great and we highly recommend the restaurant. Andreas, our guide, was knowledgeable and really friendly. We strongly recommend the Garden Route Game Lodge.

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

Abigel, the owner was amazing. She was very accommodating to any of our needs, you name it! We loved the breakfast, different varieties of healthy food. The property itself was very warm and cozy. Nearby many of the famous wineries and walking distance to Groot, most rated one within the area.

What a phantastic place., so quiet and peaceful ! Willem (I hope we spell your name right) is the best host you could imagine, thank you for your kindness. Breakfast and especially dinner are outstanding, what a brilliant chef ! All staff members are very friendly. And last but not least: They have the nicest little cat we have ever met :-) We would love to return.

This is a stunning place to stay, just outside of Plett. The staff could not do more to make you feel at home and assist you, especially Siso. And the quality of the food is exceptional. Would 100% recommend
