Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. The game lodge is easy to reach from Cape Town. The facilities are nice and the game drives were very fun and we saw many different animals- including the Big 5. We were lucky to be guided by Hannes who was very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. His love and respect for the animals was contagious.

The whole concept was nice and giving an exceptional experience, the lodge was very clean and equipped with all needed. The Wagyu Experience restaurant was a beautiful experience, the steaks and especially the wagyu burger were best. Also buying the meat from the deli restaurant and bbq at the lodge was lovely experience.
