From the incredible views, top class breakfast and dinner prepared by the chef, beautiful room (we were given the family room upgrade- spectacular!) and most of all kindness of the Hosts Martie and Ben who were so lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The pool is really nice, sunset views from the water and the surrounding area is great. It has a sunrise viewing area just a few mins walk and then a great walking trail right from the lodge (about an hour walk). Thank you to Martie, Ben, chef and all the team - this lodge is stunning!

First, the bed - extremely comfortable, with carefully selected quality bedclothes, it granted a wonderful sleep. Second, the kitchen - it had so many kitchen utensils that even a chef of a Michelin star restaurant would envy. Third, the nature - making friends with all kinds of antilopes and an alligator-like creature plus marvellous lake views offered a great nature experience. Fourth, the communication - all possible pins and directions, etc. that were partly too much for our modest IQ but worked well anyway. The gravel road with its steep bends and slopes looked somewhat scary but was actually passable with a usual passenger car. And a remarkable extra - the house floor seemed to follow a kind of mysterious anti-gravity logic.

We joined their safari, did a guided walk in the park, and had relaxing massages, everything was amazing! Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, and all the food was delicious. We truly enjoyed every moment here and highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Kruger!

The breakfast and dinners were all well presented, abundant and delicious. Nicolette also introduced us to a fantastic game drive guide, Christelle. We would not hesitate to send any of our friends and family here! We researched so many place in and around Marloth Park. If you’re looking at this property, book it! You won’t regret it.
