Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Peace and quiet, beautiful location. Nice wooden cottages with good beds and bathroom. Very helpful and kind owners. Great breakfast. In the winter they supply wood for the dure place and electric blankets which are very comfortable, as it can be cold during the evenings and nights. We would definitely book again!

We had a great stay. It has breathtaking views from executive room. The rooms have excellent design, comfortable and clean. The hosts are nice. This lodge is a must-visit on a trip to Kruger park or back just for relaxing. I very rarely rate hotels as 10, but this is one of the few.

I loved that the place was inside a beautiful gated wildlife preserve. I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.

We loved everything about our stay here. From the momsnt we step foot here, everyone was more than likely to help and welcomed us wirh open arms

Situated within 24 km of Mac-Mac Falls and 37 km of Sabie Country Club in Graskop, Lisbon Eco Lodge features accommodation with seating area. The lodge is located in a remote area. The guest house is a very cute brick house with good amenities and a lot of space! It is nothing fancy, but fits well in the spirit of the place. We really enjoyed the attention for ecology that the owner has instated. The host is adorable, very available, had good tips (he actually even gave us tips via message before we even arrived to the property) and… most importantly, he fixed our car that had a windshield problem when we arrived (thanks again for that!).

Offering mountain views, Mbizane Escarpment Retreat in Schoemanskloof offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and barbecue facilities. It truly is a 5 star glamming experience in every way! You can opt for self catering and the provision for that is outstanding - or do what we did, used the restaurant on site. They will also bring the restaurant to your tent and you just order from the menu! Every evening there was a full turn down service so that your tent was warm and cosy and heating, including electric blankets supplied. Our stay was in August so chilly at night. Our tent was in front of the river and every evening we lit a fire and gazed at the stunning night sky. An absolutely clear sky and we could switch off the main light switch to facilitate this. Though remote we had excellent wifi facilities. The staff were superb hosts and made sure every expectation of our stay was met and more. When we received our joining instructions and realised our little car would struggle with the road to Mbizane, a member of staff gave us secure parking at her home and took us to the site with all our luggage. We really appreciated this as the road is challenging. However, with the option to get a lift on a 4x4 vehicle this was no longer a problem.

Excellent staff - they advised us what routes we can take for the self-drive which helped us a lot. We also had an amazing game drive with Louis. We had booked the safari package and that included one evening game drive in Manyeleti reserve. Perfect location - The stay is just outside Kruger Orpen gate, was very easy to take a self-drive to Kruger in the morning

Grace of Africa, Couples 5 STAR Nature Lodge in Marloth Park provides adults-only accommodation with an infinity pool, a garden and a bar. With pool views, this accommodation features a patio. The space was really quite, and close to Kruger. The owners and personnel were very friendly and helpful! We also had dinner, which was really great. In Marloth Park there are no other real good restaurants.
