The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

Bare 5,9 kilometer fra Drakensig Golf Club ligger Muunga Bush Lodge & Spa, som har restaurant, et utendørsbasseng, en hage og en fellesstue. We thought we were only going to crash for a night after a long flight and before starting a safari the next day, but we were absolutely mind blown by how amazing everything was. Perfect location in the middle of what is called "Wildlife Estate" which gives you a chance to see wild animals strolling nearby (we almost saw all the same animals we saw on the safari strolling around the lodge), this is an astounding place with a beautiful room which makes you feel you're in a dream! Last but not least - Ruan and Jenny were very friendly and informative on things to do, and even gave us recommendations about Cape Town which was our next stop. For a small fee, we pre-arranged dinner (which was delicious and cooked by one of their chefs) and transfer from the Hoedspruit airport as well. Communication was easy and Ruan was very responsive. It was such a shame that we only spent one night - had we known how calm and beautiful it all was, we would have 100% extended our stay. So sad to have left but I rave about it. There couldn't have been a more perfect welcome to South Africa.
