Culinary Delights: The food at Sasi Africa was divine! Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, featuring fresh, local ingredients and creative flavors. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, and we loved the perfectly crafted lattes and cappuccinos. Luxurious Accommodations: Our tent was a haven of comfort and style. The modern yet rustic design blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Waking up to breathtaking 360-degree views of the bush each morning was a true highlight. Unforgettable Safari Drives: The safari drives were the pinnacle of our stay. Our guide, Mthoko, was exceptional. His passion for wildlife was contagious, and his knowledge and humor made each drive an adventure. Main Area and Amenities: The main lodge area was beautiful and welcoming, always clean and tidy. The short walk from our tent added to the sense of seclusion and tranquility.

Pietermaritzburg Airport is 203 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. All was good, food, location and game drives were excellent. Staff was helpful. Will return. Exceptional value!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Our stay at Babanango Game reserve at the Madwaleni River lodge and Zulu Rock Lodge was an experience we will never forget. The Lodge is a fantastic " tent" with all the comfort you can imagine. Our Diner was served as a private dinner at the libary, in the winecellar and other places. We also had a suprise breakfast outdoors in the wild, absolutly fantastic. Under the guidance of one of the best experts, mr Eduan Balt, we enjoyed the gamedrives in the morning and afternoon. We never learned so much during all those gamedrives in our whole life. Special thanks to Lungelo, Lunka and Ntombi and everyone of the staff , they were all very friendly and forthcoming, This was a once in a lifetime experience.

It is a self catering unit and well equipped. The housekeeping staff were respectful and ensured our space was well cleaned. Special thanks to Diana for her impeccable service, quick responses to our queries and overall attention to detail. Fresh towels were provided on a daily basis. The bedding was neat and super cosy. Toiletries were also provided - shampoo/conditioner/soap. A dishwasher is installed in the kitchen which came in handy with a large family! The Lodge was an absolute gem and ideal for a family break. I had the privilege to celebrate my birthday with my family after 6 years and the location was perfect. Definitely a vacation that will forever remain close to my heart. ♥️
