Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Woodburner in the house. We loved that you can do safari drives in both the Kruger national park, which is huge, and the Sabi Sands that is more intimate and you can get a little closer to the animals. The staff make this place amazing, all so kind and accommodating. We loved our guide Percy who really went above and beyond on our drives, and Matt who was really accommodating, plus all other staff (too many to mention). The food was great, all meals. The tents are nicer than expected with really comfortable, large beds, air con and a good shower/bathroom. The pool area is also really nice and they are building a second. Overall really great value and the perfect safari experience. We hope to return again!
