The fact that Casablanca doesn’t have a solid, untarnished 10 star review average is a mystery to me. From the breathtaking views from my bedroom window, to the reliable hot shower, delicious home-cooked food, this homestay deserves the highest of praises. However, Viet, the owner, is the absolute man! He goes above and beyond for his guests in every conceivable way. This morning, he got up early on my behalf to escort me to the trailhead for Sa Mu Peak, and checked up on me when I got caught in a flash flood, alone, 11 kilometers into a 22 kilometer trek. He’s a wealth of knowledge, a pleasure to be around, and takes the time to get to know each and every one of his guests personally. He is a legend!

This could possibly be the best guesthouse on our travels around Vietnam. Our host Nhung organised travel between Mu Cang Chai to Moc Chau and then onto Ninh Bihn for our group effortlessly and efficiently . The rooms are set within a beautiful garden. Small ponds with carp surrounded by trees which are lit at night making garden come to life after sunset. Rooms are spacious and use high quality finishing which included a wooden bath which was a delight for some of our family. Large flatscreen TV allowed us to view some Netflix before sleeping. Beds very comfortable and king size. Our stay included breakfast which was amazing. Nhung’s family also own a a cafe which does meals a short distance away called Halian Garden Coffee BBQ. The BBQ and Hotpot are fantastic and if in Moc Chau make sure you visit! There is various activities and sights to explore nearby including the Glass Bridge at Moc Chau Island which also has a cave to visit. We will definitely be returning on our next Vietnam adventure. It was the best stay we had in Vietnam and the highlight of our trip. The property was very beautiful, atypical and authentic. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony where we enjoyed stargazing. But the reason our stay was marvelous was the staff there. They were extremely nice and helpful;as soon as we arrive, we got lost to find the property so they came to pick us up,then guide us to a stunning café nearby up the hill to watch the sunset which was so beautiful. I asked if they had a laundry and from that they washed and dried our clothes I felt like I was 14 again haha. We got stuck wanting to go somewhere but no buses so they arrange a solution for us to book the bus on our behalf which was extremely helpful. The next day they also offered to drive us to the glass bridge before dropping us to the bus station, making sure we had groceries for the trip and everything. Thank you so much Dai you make it so stressfree for us we were very happy to met you. You are all very beautiful soul and I wish you all the best.

The homestay is located in an ideal location for cloud hunting in the morning, the majestic natural scenery makes us amazed. Quiet and airy space. The most special thing is the hospitality of the homestay owners. They are very friendly, enthusiastic in suggesting beautiful places to visit and supporting us throughout the trip.

We have liked everything! Absolutely cannot understand what kind of problems was experienced some people, that have left bad reviews. If you afraid something just read more about place and don't worry about people they are awesome! It can be cold, but in period from October to April low temperatures (about 15 and even below) especially in nights are normal in that part of country. There can be too many moscitos and other insects - just be ready for that (especially in bungalow type of room). Have read review about karaoke - are you serious? This is big tradition in Vietnam, and don't forget that we are guests here, i think we must respect that tradition or at least be a little indulgent with that. As i think it looks really nice and cute. The hosts did everything for our comfortable staying, they were really cared of us like about members of family :) And all this with no speaking English! :) They just have a lot of desire to help and absolutely kind and positive way of life. We are really appreciate hosted for time spend on their homestay and recommend to everybody this place!
