The outdoor space is truly a highlight — spacious, well-maintained, and featuring excellent and fully functional grills that made cooking outdoors a breeze. Enjoying a meal with the stunning view of Mount Shasta in the background was unforgettable. Inside, the home is clean and spacious and gives off a warm, cozy, and homy atmosphere. The fireplace added the perfect touch of comfort, and the bathtub was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking or exploring. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for outdoor adventures, this place strikes the perfect balance. I would absolutely stay here again!

We can only confirm what other reviews are mentioning as well and rate this stay as exceptionnal. We had booked this stay as a sleepover on the way to Sequoia NP and didn't pay a lot of attention to the details or reviews, and only realized that this is a homestay when we arrived. We immediately felt welcome in Rosi and Carlos' home. Even though we only spent a night we loved it and had a great time/fun and conversations with Rosi and the other couple that was staying there. Rosi's hospitality is remarkable, she really goes out of her way to make her guests feel at home. Can definitely recommend. Also, accomodation was perfect and clean, the bed was VERY comfortable! Thanks once again Rosi and Carlos, wish you all the best and we hope to be able to stay over again one day!

يقع Black Bear Lodge في جنوب بحيرة تاهو، على بعد حوالي 800 م من البحيرة وعلى بعد 1.6 كم من The Gondola at Heavenly. تحتوي جميع الغرف على تلفزيون بشاشة مسطحة ومدفأة تعمل بالغاز. the room is so clean, they put 2 piece of welcome chocolate on the bed which was so delicious. I can feel they care about the customer so much. The lobby is so cozy for couple to have a drink. Last but not least, the location of the lodge was totally perfect, we can walk to the lake round 6 mins. I will be back soon absolutely.
