Basic accommodation, but the energy and vibe of this place are something else – all thanks to the lovely people. Warm atmosphere makes it unique and Tina is an absolute treasure of this place. Our family had a wonderful stay at Utupoa. After three nights, we really felt like it was our home away from home. The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

Located on the coast of Kiwengwa, Zanbluu Beach Hotel offers ocean and garden views. The property offers an infinity pool with views of the ocean, as well as a pool bar. Truly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful and welcoming staff. Comfortable beds, delicious food, very clean with everything you need to enjoy what is truly a slice of heaven.

Evergreen Bungalows offers beachfront accommodation in Bwejuu. The property has a private beach area and bike hire and car hire are available. Zanzibar City is 37 km away. Right on the beach, very chill vibe, great chef and all around very comfortable and so fun.

I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!
