Firefly is located in Bagamoyo, 60 km north of Dar es Salaam. The guest house has an outdoor pool and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. The food and staff are exceptional! We really had a fabulous weekend! We travelled with our two children (6 and 2) and they really enjoyed the outside and pool area. The prices are really also very good, and they staff really go beyond to make your stay memorable. When you are there, try the stuffed chicken, I think I would have eaten the plate too if I could chew it, it was THAT GOOD! We really enjoyed Bagamoyo as a whole, next time we are trying their Zanzibar property.

Set in Bagamoyo with Caravan Serai Museum Bagamoyo and Catholic Historic Museum Bagamoyo nearby, California Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very kind host, Noel is happy to help with everything! The lodge has a excellent location (close to the city center, bus stop, big supermarket at the corner,…). The room was basic but clean. For this price it is an excellent choice!
