I could not be more satisfied. The hotel has a mountain hut vibe, great atmosphere, made of wood, furnished accordingly. We liked it a lot. Great value for the price. It is a family run business, and they are very great hosts. Polite, helping, bringing us some homemade liquor to try out, speaking good English, etc. You can order for a very reasonable price dinner and breakfast as well, which is prepared by the family. Homemade taste, local ingredients, big portions. Wonderful. You have a big plate with all the goods for breakfast and a typical Romanian dish plus a dessert for dinner. The beds were comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. The terrace has possibilities to just chill and relax. There was even a local dog and animals around adding to the vibe. A fireplace outside, also a small playground for the children. Set in nature, close for hikes in Retezat. For sure, I would love to come back. Thanks for everything.

Elysium Retreat se află în Cinciş și oferă vedere la grădină, o grădină, o terasă, facilități pentru sporturi acvatice și facilități de grătar. Se oferă la locație parcare privată. Am beneficiat de multiple facilități de gătit mâncare, inclusiv grătare, atât pe terasa comună, cât și pe terasa de lângă apartamente. Un mic minus: apartamentele au priveliște spre grădină și împărtășesc aceleași spații comune cu vila principală, care sunt foarte spațioase, potrivite pentru grupuri. Dacă se dorește intimitate completă, e mai bine să se închirieze întreg complexul. (Dar, sincer să fiu, majoritatea timpului l-am petrecut pe terasă sau pe malul lacului). Copiii s-au simțit ca acasă și, pentru noi, acesta este cel mai important lucru. Nici nu am plecat bine și copiii deja au întrebat când o să revenim. 🥰 Mulțumim, Dan și Valentina, pentru căldura cu care ne-ați primit! 🥰

We enjoyed staying at this nice cottage in a quiet tiny village. The cottage and the whole property has a superb view of the Carpathian mountains and is near a nice little stream. The property is close to the beautiful Retezat national park and valley of the city of Hateg.

Excellent place for an overnight stay after a long hike. The hosts were adorable, the huts clean, modern, air-conditioned, woth spacious showers. We could spend time outdoors in a lovely garden with access to the mountain stream. We had the pleasure of meeting the house kitten, who entertained us while waiting for the best home-made dinner cooked by the hosts. Breakfast was delicious and made up also of home-made products, all at for more than a reasonable price.

Chalet Luna Parang se găsește în Petroşani și are vedere la munte, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. Perfectă pentru o ieșire pe munte, dacă ai ajuns cu mașina. De aici în 15 minute de condus ești la baza traseului. Întors după o zi toridă ai tot ce-ți trebuie pentru recuperare.

Loved going to sleep listening to the river and waking up to roosters from the farm next door. The setting deep in the mountains features the cleanest air I’ve ever breathed and SO MANY STARS. The craftsmanship of the buildings is astonishing—have not seen anything like this in a new construction, from the exquisite dovetailed carpentry, all the way down to the iron latches for the gates. Even though from the outside it looks like this could be a historic house, the inside has plenty of modern comforts: air conditioning, spa-like bathroom, and even WiFi. Truly amazing how much work and planning must have gone into creating this wonderful venue; I can only imagine it is the realization of a longtime dream.

Lovely and brand new accommodation in a rural area near some national parks. The house has all amenities to make your stay comfortable, including cooking a nice dinner. Small things were appreciated, like the bottle of wine and homemade jam at arrival. We especially loved sitting outside on the veranda in the evening, enjoying the atmosphere that surrounds the house. The owner was very helpful with guiding us the way to Fundatore Ponorului, a (bit though) hike we undertook.
