Not only you receive very confortable accomondation with all you need. Moreover staff is so friendly that you may expect very nice conversations and get to known interisting things about the region, its culture etc. We spent very nice evening here. Food was vonderful.

I could not be more satisfied. The hotel has a mountain hut vibe, great atmosphere, made of wood, furnished accordingly. We liked it a lot. Great value for the price. It is a family run business, and they are very great hosts. Polite, helping, bringing us some homemade liquor to try out, speaking good English, etc. You can order for a very reasonable price dinner and breakfast as well, which is prepared by the family. Homemade taste, local ingredients, big portions. Wonderful. You have a big plate with all the goods for breakfast and a typical Romanian dish plus a dessert for dinner. The beds were comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. The terrace has possibilities to just chill and relax. There was even a local dog and animals around adding to the vibe. A fireplace outside, also a small playground for the children. Set in nature, close for hikes in Retezat. For sure, I would love to come back. Thanks for everything.

We enjoyed staying at this nice cottage in a quiet tiny village. The cottage and the whole property has a superb view of the Carpathian mountains and is near a nice little stream. The property is close to the beautiful Retezat national park and valley of the city of Hateg.

Excellent place for an overnight stay after a long hike. The hosts were adorable, the huts clean, modern, air-conditioned, woth spacious showers. We could spend time outdoors in a lovely garden with access to the mountain stream. We had the pleasure of meeting the house kitten, who entertained us while waiting for the best home-made dinner cooked by the hosts. Breakfast was delicious and made up also of home-made products, all at for more than a reasonable price.

The location is simply magic surrounded by forest and having a river right in front which makes it a wonderful place where we returned the second time. For both us and our kids spending time in the courtyard and building bridges on the river is a priceless experience which makes us want to come back :)

The house has all amenities to make your stay comfortable, including cooking a nice dinner. Small things were appreciated, like the bottle of wine and homemade jam at arrival. We especially loved sitting outside on the veranda in the evening, enjoying the atmosphere that surrounds the house. The owner was very helpful with guiding us the way to Fundatore Ponorului, a (bit though) hike we undertook.
