This is a new, comfortable, modest lodging with a purpose. "Rewilding Portugal" is involved with projects mostly in the Coa River valley. The location here in Vale de Madeira highlights the beauty of the natural landscape, and the acceptance of the Rewilding Center in the small village. The kitchen was especially nice. It allowed me to fix my own means (and clean up afterwards, of course), but it's big enough to serve events and large groups. Very well done, very well thought out facility. Good showers, good mini-split heater in my room. Very clean, with attentive staff.

Really quiet place, ideal to rest away from from the big city. The view is magnificent. The staff was extremely nice, always willing to help either on the property or with local tips.

Very quiet quaint little cottage, nicely laid out with everything required.. open plan kitchen/lounge area for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Not far from pedrogáo grande for all your shopping needs or restaurants to eat out, N2 stop pizzaria 5 minutes away along the iconic N2, plenty of camping space with facilities included. Excellent hotel that pleasantly surprised us at every turn! We stayed here and were absolutely delighted. The rooms are simply perfect - clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail: everything you need is provided - from a hair dryer and minibar to a complete first aid kit. The bathroom features quality cosmetics and all essential amenities, making the stay as comfortable as possible. The shared kitchen was a real discovery! It’s equipped with absolutely everything needed for cooking. You rarely find this in hotels, and it creates a special homely atmosphere. We even felt like staying longer and truly living in this cozy place. Really loved the private enclosed backyard - the perfect spot for evening relaxation in a peaceful setting. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The hotel is new, beautiful, and creates a sense of coziness from the very first moments. Definitely recommend for a comfortable stay!
