I like all - from meeting of kind owner, little, but important details in the bathroom, (like teeth brush of bamboo,), we could find all equipments in kitchen, supper breakfast, when even croissant🥐 and bread were warm. I like a lot friendly to health dishes 🫙( i mean bottles from glass to keep milk, jam and butter, i usually use just such, it was perfect!!! ), very good wine, i think it was from local grapes🍇, even virgin olive oil🫒, which owners gave to us to do food. I adored to stay in this cute rustic cottage , soo nice view from little yard to mountains, birds singing in mornings and it was so great to eat in the yard, to smell roses, to enjoy views of mountains, to see sunsets. The village was fantastic, some old houses were from stones too, around olives trees and we could hear romantic church bells. Nearby a village you can find very nice mountain river with stone bridge. Around silence of nature, soooo calm and fantastic, obrigado, superr, adore..It was really great my birthday journey to mountains. 💜💚

The breakfast was superb, fresh fruit and pastries and the coffee wonderful. Fresh orange juice from the trees. Sue showed us around her beautiful property including the well and identified places for us to visit. We have had such a quiet, relaxed and very comfortable few days at the cottage in the lake. We will come again. Thank you Sue for being a beautiful host. You have a wonderful place 😊

Everything was sparkling clean . The beds were comfortable. The village is extremely beautiful. Overall an amazing experience

Every effort has been made to retain the original design while ensuring all modern facilities are included (dishwasher, good internet etc). The bed was very comfortable and the area is so peaceful so sleep was no problem. The kitchen is very well appointed to allow you to cook if you want to. Restaurant options are limited outside of weekends so best to be prepared with food just in case. There is a lovely deck to sit on for meals and drinks. The views are postcard perfect.

The apartment was about a 30 minute drive on our way to Lousa, so it was very convenient. The apartment was very clean, the bed was larger than most of the accommodations on our trip so far and really comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal. It is modern and very well taken care of. We've been in Portugal for 2 weeks & this is the best place we've stayed so far. Too bad it was only for one night.
