An absolutely lovely place inside the canyon run by a nice family with a view of the mountain and lush vegetation. The food was delicious (simple, but the best we had during our travels in Peru). The biggest surprise is the bed, which you would not expect in a place you visit primarily for the nature and hiking opportunity - it is huge and so comfortable.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot spring bath. I have stayed in many austere locations, but this is probably the most simplest place I have paid to stay in. It is beautiful. It is so simple, but also was $12 U.S. for 1 night. If it wasn’t for the mosquitos, I wish I could have stayed for a few more days and just decompressed. The dinner had no options. It came and you either ate it or you didn’t (I’m sure they had a vegetarian option). I liked it though. I’m sorry that I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that helped out during the stay, but he was awesome. Thank you for making this adventure great!

Every one contributes to my fantastic stay. A smile, some nice talk & info, The delicious food, the hot water bottle ready after dinner. Edgar the responsible staff organized my transport, and was always attentive to help so Im didn't have any worry and could enjoy at fullest. A big thank you. The view is stunning whereever you look, you have to be there to feel the greatness of that place. A room with the most amazing view. Apo the dog sleeping on my door step & following me. So cute! Im glad I stayed for a few days, thats how you can appreciate every little thing. It should not be rushed, go with the pace.

Surrounded by greenery and hills at the bottom of the Sangelle Valley and offering an outdoor pool and free breakfast, Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge is located in Cabanaconde. Cabanaconde can be reached in 3 hours, by foot, horse or mule only. Our stay here was absolutely incredible. Our room had the most magnificent view, everything was clean, the pool and the grounds were immaculately maintained. This place was the highlight of our trip. When you realize that each piece of furniture and material had to brought down the canyon manually one by one, you really appreciate all the amenities that you have. Just incredible.

The wooden cabins blend harmoniously with the environment and offer both private and shared bathroom options, hot water, and an on-site restaurant with a bar. This was an amazing place to stay after our first day of hiking! The staff were so friendly! The hot springs were also so great. The beds were very comfy.
