The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

Raoul is very nice, the communication is very good before the stay. He really take care of the host. The place is magical, the room is nice with nice dinner and breakfast. I recomend.

This was an amazing place! The hosts were so kind, gave us loads of information and even took us on a small tour of some nearby islands. The food was amazing! Very generous portion sizes and they were able to cater to a vegetarian diet. It was cold in the lodge but we always had plenty of blankets, a heater, hot water and hot water bottles to keep us warm so it was never a problem. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Everything was just amazing, but warm water bottles in bed were just mind blowing, Titicaca is situated pretty high in the mountains so the nights are really cold, yet owners did their best to make it pleasant and warm 😊

It was a very lovely stay at this home stay. Owners are very nice couple who took a good care of our group. They picked us up, prepared breakfast and let us rest after the long journey. Overall the stay was so comfortable and nice.

This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in - the hotel has just one room and is located on a man made reed island floating on Lake Titicaca. Walter was very helpful - we had a few changes in our itinerary, due to transport problems, and he was very helpful in allowing us to change our booking dates. The room was spacious with amazing lake views though the floor to ceiling windows. The meals were also very good. Please note you need to pay in cash and there are no ATM near the property (obviously!), so bring sufficient cash with you

If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead. There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great. The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty. Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them. One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway. We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.

Staying at Amalia Titicaca Lodge with Juan and his wonderful family was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Peru. This is not just a place to stay—it’s a truly unforgettable experience that you simply should not miss. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. Juan and his family took care of us as if we were their own. When we struggled with the altitude on our first day, they immediately made us feel comfortable, preparing special teas and even giving us hot water bottles for the night. The altitude sickness disappeared overnight, thanks to their care! Juan took us out on a fantastic boat tour of Lake Titicaca, sharing his knowledge and the beauty of the lake with us. In the evening, he cooked us an incredible supper—fresh and delicious. Breakfast the next morning was the same. Everything about our stay was authentic, peaceful, and filled with small, thoughtful touches. But what truly sets this place apart is Juan’s generosity and dedication. Halfway to Cusco, I realized I had left my laptop behind at the lodge—a total panic moment! Juan went above and beyond to make sure I got it back before leaving Cusco, personally organizing for it to be delivered by bus so I wouldn’t have to pay $200 for a private shuttle. I am eternally grateful for his kindness and effort! If you’re looking for a genuine, unforgettable experience on Lake Titicaca with hosts who treat you like family, do not hesitate—book a stay at Amalia Titicaca Lodge. You will be so glad you did. Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru asub Punos. Külalised saavad nautida järvevaateid ja iga päev hommikusööki. Majutusasutus asub Titicaca järve ees, kesklinnast 7 km kaugusel. Titicaca We, a Family of four (2 kids, 14 years and 12 years) stayed 2 nights at the lovely Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge. The house we stayed in is very comfortabel and nicely decorated. The bathroom is basic. Eddy, his parents and sisters did their utmost to make our stay as memorable as possible. Breakfast and dinner is very tasteful and they also took the allergy of our son into account. There are no functional wall sockets in the house so take into account to charge you devices prior to your stay and possibly use power banks. We had issues charging our camera but Eddy’s father helped us out and charged the battery for us. We also booked a tour to Tanquile island. It was nice but a little too touristy for us. A long boat trip and the dancing with locals felt little authentic. We could possibly have better chosen the Uros tour with Eddy. At the end of our stay they also helped us with organizing a driver from Puno to Yanque. To summarize, we loved our stay at this breathtaking place with Eddy and his family.

Felix is friendly ,industrious and hospitable ! I had a mild touch of altitude on day 1 and he helped as much as he could! Very sweet ! The place is unique and unmissable!!
