It was fantastic having a slow morning soaking in the views and enjoy the stunning scenery. The dinner was one of our best in Peru, which we did not expect! Terrific soups, perfectly cooked meat and wonderful flavors. We had herbal tea freshly picked from the garden.

Dinner was vegetarian and was around 20 soles. Breakfast at 5am with loooots of carbs Room was OK, hot water, clean, towels, good wifi.

Surrounded by greenery and hills at the bottom of the Sangelle Valley and offering an outdoor pool and free breakfast, Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge is located in Cabanaconde. Cabanaconde can be reached in 3 hours, by foot, horse or mule only. A beautiful ecolodge in the centre of the oasis! The rooms are basic but comfortable, the hosts are extremely kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. Cozy and comfortable, a great place to stay after a long day of trekking or to prepare for the final ascent :)

The wooden cabins blend harmoniously with the environment and offer both private and shared bathroom options, hot water, and an on-site restaurant with a bar. the stuff was very friendly and welcoming. We felt very good and had a great time.
