You can prepare a meal in the alfresco shared kitchen/dining area, which is located in the centre of the property. Linen is supplied to all units. The host was very helpful with providing recommendations for the area. In addition, the hideaway room was exceptional of value for money. The overall vibe was very peaceful and we loved feeling like we were on a little holiday immersed in nature. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Loved the artwork outside of each room with matching key. The homemade food was wonderful and the coffee /pressed was the best I had. The owners are fantastic. Loved the fire and the stars from the spa.

I felt very comfortable in your accommodation; everything was new and perfectly prepared. The large glass front overlooking the pasture and the mountain range was the most beautiful feature. It’s 5 minutes to Waihi town and to Gold Discovery Center, less than 15 minutes to Karangahake Gorge, to Hauraki Heritage Train, to Waihi Beach, and Bowentown. Hobiton and the route to the Coromandel Peninsula are less than an hour's drive away. Next time I’d stay more days.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. The view was absolutely stunning! Such a big, beautiful house as well with a lovely owner. Great location. Got to see the highland cattle next to the house. Just such a relaxing experience, we would definitely go back!
