The jacuzzi was a great way to stay warm and take in the scenery along. We also enjoyed walking along the trails toward the river.

The tiled floors, fireplace and peaceful vibe add to the ambience of the room. This chalet is allergy-free and non-smoking. Amazing stay! Can’t ask for more. Rustic cabin with wood stove, wood burning sauna, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen. I enjoyed getting a tour of the hosts beautiful Norwegian elk hounds and Alaskan malamutes. There’s even a bbq hut but we didn’t use it. Friendly hosts and lots of peace and quiet.

With mountain views, Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge is set in Alta and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. The staff were super helpful and answered all our questions. We booked experiences and transport ahead of time and everyone was great at communicating and confirming our bookings. The food was super tasty and customised to my allergies. Also the atmosphere was super cosy.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. Everything was over my expectations. The lodge is beautiful, exactly like in the pictures, the dogs are cute, the staff very friendly.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. This vacation was a once in a lifetime experience. The location was perfect to see the northern lights, the restaurant served food of the quality of a Michelin star restaurant, and the staff was extremely friendly. Even though the location was quite remote, there were plenty of activities to do. PS: it is also a great place to propose to your girlfriend - a guaranteed YES (from personal experience) :)

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Vadsø, Ekker Island Arctic Lodge is a holiday home surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, barbecue facilities and parking on-site among other facilities. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. You have a fully equiped lovely timber cottage for yourself, and if you keep all the lights off you can see when the Northern Lights appear… It doesn’t get any better than this, I’ll be back!
