The owner is very responsive and attentive. He sent us a video of the house, told us everything in detail, was always in touch. There is a very beautiful promenade next to the house. The location of the house is great. A cozy closed yard where you could just sit and relax watching the chickens

We had a wonderful and relaxing week taking day trips and exploring the local area. The location was perfect, Amsterdam, The Hague, Kasteel de Haar, Keukenhof and Rotterdam all within 45 minutes drive (some less than 30 minutes away). We had lovely walks, beautiful views and all the comforts of home. A lot of thought has gone into the renovation of the lodge and it is the thoughtful little touches that really stood out (fresh flowers, a basket of groceries to get us going). Thank you again for a fantastic week, we will be back again.

Directly at the water and in a very calm spot. Important in summer: this has an AC and it has enough power to keep it's cool even on the hottest days. Contact with the owners very uncomplicated.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The chalet was superb, had everything you need extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable. The location is great for getting out to see the sights, Keukenhof, Haarlem and Amsterdam are all easy to get to. There is an absolutely fabulous local garden centre with is well worth a look but allow a few hours as it’s massive! The place is quintessentially Dutch, the canals the houses and the lovely people. We would definitely stay again. We have traveled all over the Netherlands and this is by far my favourite area.
