FYI if you're thinking of renting a car whilst you're in Langkawi, do it through Aliff instead as he knows the reputable companies.

Located within 8.3 km of Langkawi Kristal and 8.9 km of Langkawi Bird Paradise in Kuah, Fox Hill offers accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The atmosphere and the traditional Malay house. The staff were amazing, helping us with everything. Such a wonderful place, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the nature.

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. It is a 4-minute drive from Pantai Cenang, a 15-minute drive from Langkawi Airport and a 30-minute drive from Kuah Town. The staff were supper nice and assisted us changing the room and doing late check out for free.. the lady manager was very kind and bought me cream for sunburn because I was burned before checking in the hotel

Featuring garden views, Blissfull Sweet Inn provides accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 500 metres from Cenang Beach. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the chalet free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.3 km from Underwater World Langkawi. This place has a fantastic vibe. I love nature and it really captured a sense of being your own private haven in the middle of the wild.. yet 2 min walk to the main drag. My favourite part were the friendly little family of cats that hung out with us the whole time.  Mamma cat and her two baby kittens as well as a couple of friendly adolescent cats (her previous litter I think). There's a lovely little balcony where you can while away the day in private, surrounded by garden and petting the cats. Big stumpy (what we coined the bigger of the stumpy tailed cats as there was a matching kitten too) was crazy friendly. He followed us everywhere, literally. We had to draw the line at following us into the bathroom and gently coax him back out. On top of this there were spectacled monkeys, squirrels and our own pet gecko. The king bed was comfy and spacious and the room had a lot of surfaces to put your things. I wish I could have stayed longer but it was booked out. Sam and Jeffrey were kind and super friendly and helpful

Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre is 4 km from Ezu Isle Langkawi Pool Villa, while Telaga Harbour is 6.2 km away. Langkawi International Airport is 3 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. This stay exceeded my expectations! The host made me feel right at home, and the space was spotless, stylish, and filled with personal touches that made it even more special. I’d happily return and highly recommend it to others
