Hands down the basest place we stayed on our 15 day road trip through the Balkans! The sunset was stunning and lasted for what felt like ever. They really thought of everything when building the cabin. The hot tub was piping hot and exactly what we needed after days of hiking. They have a restaurant that we didn’t know about beforehand but I highly suggest you get there in time to eat there. It is stunning and the food looks incredible. We had car troubles upon leaving and Damir and his dad helped us get the care we needed! They are truly the kindest family! We will 100 percent come back to this gem!

The view from the terrace is beautiful you can see the river entering the sea. The host is the best, very friendly and helpful he even got us a present when we were leaving the house.

The cottage is extremely comfortable and positioned exceptionally well on the bank of the river and 10 min walk from the beach. Equipped with all needed for own meal preparing. The owner very very helpful for all needs( even repairing hiking boots). Nicely decorated very comfortable bed. Very recommended.

The Congo Bungalow exceeded our expectations. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Although it was off-season, the property was maintained as if it were a hotel with guests and cleaning staff circulating all the time. The property had beautiful patio furniture and the indoor amenities were plentiful (i.e. kitchen was stocked, bathroom was stocked, laundry room was stocked, etc.) The tranquility of this location is unbeatable - especially since the area is considered a quiet zone. The extra blankets in the bedrooms were perfect for putting on our laps as we read our books on the beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Also, as a note - please make sure to communicate with the host on how to arrive to the location. It was a little tricky going under the bridge where it felt like we were going in the wrong direction, but obviously we weren't.
