I stayed for 1 night just to make a break in driving, but it was so nice that I want to come back with someone and spend a few days. I'm solo female traveler and I felt very safe here.

Freshly new and clean house with nice view. We enjoyed sauna and bbq facilities, such a cosy place for a weekend getaway. I have stayed in Katun Laništa for 3 night in the beginning of May. The Katun is only accessible by walking or 4x4 as it is located in the mountains, but since I had a normal car and a suitcase, the hosts can offer you a ride in their 4x4 jeep to the katun from their house in the village. My stay in Katun Laništa has been wonderful. As it was the start of the season, they were still preparing the Katun but that did not bother me at all. The hosts are super friendly and provide you with everything you need. The food is amazing, and the home grow and home cook everything here. The Katun has a lot of animals (cats, dogs, chickens, cows, horses and pigs) which makes it even more fun to stay here. The Katun is located within fields filled with wildflowers and the mountain views are spectacular! I was really able to calm down here. I spent my time reading in the hammocks, hiking to Biogradsko Jezero and in the woods surrounding the Katun. In short, I would recommend everyone to come here, at least have some food but even better stay a few nights.

Dragan (the owner) welcomed us with open arms (and with his homemade apple liquor). He was super helpful throughout our stay and is a very kind person. The lovely home we stayed in was completely made by him, and it showed all the love and dedication he put into the place. We were surrounded by horses, dogs, chickens, and also a beautiful river where you can go swimming. The lake of the national park is only 10 minutes away by car, and everything else is easily reachable from there. It was peaceful and quiet, and it is also perfect for children since there is a zip line and some games to play! We also recommend the horse tour that he and Milica provide there. We unfortunately didn’t have time, but it is possible to ask Dragan to make dinner for you a few hours in advance. The interiors were clean, well kept, and spacious! We cannot recommend this place enough.

Comfortable and very clean apartment with nice view to the mountains. The next chalet is far enough away that guests don't disturb each other. It's not easy to find the accommodation at night by google map, but the local firefighters and the host were helpful.
