We loved the accommodation, with a beautiful terrace at the front overlooking nature and the sunset. The owner was helpful in arranging a safari and for advising restaurants in the neighbourhood for take away (so we could it with the beautiful view). The sanitaire was clean.

You can also book a safari through them. We had the pleasure of staying at their newest tent (they currently have 3 of them and some lodges). The tent is very large offers everything you need, there’s a fan, lots of wall sockets, two beds, water cooker and a bathroom attached. There’s no warm water, but you will need the cool shower :) the climate is always hot and humid. Sleeping in the tent at night with the blinds open was very comfortable. Also, there’s lots of peacocks around, it is a joy to watch them from the tent. They recently completed a new area for breakfast which looks fantastic and is very spacious. Everything around the place felt very high-class, which we did not expect, especially at this price point. The staff was extremely attentive and adjusted to your needs (e.g. breakfast time for safari). We felt like in a 5-star hotel :)

We also left an item behind when checking out and only realised a few days later - the staff organised a safe return of item to us! The hotel and grounds are very well maintained + the pool was great . Will definitely recommend to friends and will stay here again when we come back.

From the very first moment, Athula treated us like queens, with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. He is a wonderful person who made us feel at home at all times. He even prepared a delicious picnic for us to take on our safari, which made the experience even more special. This place combines comfort, nature, and an unmatched personal touch. I would recommend this stay to absolutely everyone. Forever grateful – we would come back a thousand times!

Each air-conditioned chalet faces the rice field and mountain and comes with a fan and seating area. The private bathroom is equipped with free toiletries. Fantastic location, staff, and pool with a view. Sleep to the sound of crickets at night and birds in the morning. The food was amazing. They recommended the local specials, which we relished. Sweet potato fries were amazing. Special thanks to Gumbit(I hope we got his name right). He took good care of us, organized our yala safari, and checked on us often with a warm smile. Our trip would be incomplete without the warm smiles of the staff at gaga bees. We highly recommend this stay
