Hotel owner is very helpful. Hospitality was on a top level. He has helped us to arrange our trip for 2 days, provided a driver with tuk tuk and recommended the best places around. Breakfasts were very fresh and tasty. Accommodation is also pretty nice and spacious. We definitely want to come back here again. Thanks for everything!

Anjelo went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He is a very charming guy. It was great to relax on the patio outside the bedroom and read and listen to the birds. A very unique experience. It is easy to walk to Ella for dinner and walk to beautiful areas like Adams Peak and The Nine Arch bridge from Tantra Ella Lodge.

Nethsara cottage is absolutely gorgeous - beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a rural, quiet spot in the hills above Ella. Delicious breakfasts are served on the balcony that has amazing views of the valley and the Mahamevnawa Monastery in the distance. Madusha is a lovely host, organising tuktuks on our request. We were so sad to leave and couldn’t recommend it more!

A fantastic host, and sensational meals prepared by a personal chef…the manager arranged for us a tuktuk to discover the hidden gems of Ella. The house is very private and has a super comfortable bed with klamboe. They made diner for us which was the best food we had! The breakfast was also way better then other places! Kamal guided us to Diyaluma Falls, and drove us to the Halpewatte Tea Factory, and.. He was incredibly kind, attentive to details, and always made sure we were comfortable. What really stood out was Kamal’s thoughtful planning—he shared invaluable tips to help us avoid crowds and enjoy peaceful moments at each destination. He patiently waited for us, gave us plenty of time to explore, and was never in a rush. His friendly attitude, local insights, and very reasonable pricing made the experience truly memorable. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Ella! At the same time he was not pushing us to anything we did not want to do! We also did the cooking class they offer which was also amazing local experience.
