So happy we decided to stay for 4 days (we had considered Jetwing Lake and the Heritance) as the hotel is absolutely perfect. My husband and I stayed in the casita with the pool while our daughters were in a two bed room. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate — the outdoor bathroom exceeded expectations with high end fixtures and no critters even in the middle of the night. We had all meals at the property and the chefs deliver on both Sri Lankan and western food. Super fast wi-fi in the rooms and on the property. The pool and gardens create a relaxing vibe. Wedge, the owner, could not have been a more gracious and helpful host. He and the team arranged transport and local outings to Sigiriya, Minneriya, Dambulla and a spa for massages. Help was always available, if needed. Truly a wonderful place!

The owner is so positive and cheerful. He helped us learn about wildlife in his garden, recommended local restaurants and organized most of our tours. The breakfast was so wonderful - we stayed 4 nights and every morning we had different Sri Lankan choices. There were sunny-side-up eggs every morning. A thermos full of hot water to make your own coffee or tea plus a lovely local juice. You can easily walk to see local rice fields and a view of the Lion's Rock. There are many restaurant options on the local road leading to the homestay. There are hammocks to relax in while you enjoy the beautiful garden with local wildlife. A quiet and peaceful retreat! 4 rooms available…snatch yours up! We were kindly welcomed with King coconut drink; owner is so positive and so helpful - every tour that he helped us book was well organized and we learned so much; beautiful garden area with hammocks, parakeets, turtle, chipmunks, toucan…; outside sitting area outside of room; breakfast area outside as well - delicious breakfast with eggs, roti with onion, Dahl crispy cakes, honey hopper, delicious passionfruit juice and coffee…yum!; breakfast varied each day with wonderful local food; easy to walk to a variety of dinner restaurants; easy to book safaris, day trip to Ancient City Of Polonnaruwa and night visit to jungle to see Loris and other wildlife through homestay; bed was comfortable - beautiful wooden canopy beds with lovely mosquito nets; very clean room; spacious room and bathroom; furnished simply with planning; has 2 shelves and a rack with hooks for hanging items; electrical outlets near bed; near local rice fields; beautiful view of Lion's Rock from outside of homestay; supporting a local family

The room has enough space, clean and the beds are huge with comfortable mattresses. It is located in a quiet area, the air is so fresh at night time so we sleep without fan.
