Located within a minute walk from Palugaswewa railway station and 4.3 km from Habarana Lake, Bissa Villa offers a private lodge with air conditioning and mosquito net. The host lady was so kind to us! We had a long conversation in the morning and she is a really open minded and understanding person. The couple invests a lot of time and hard work into building up the cabanas and keeping the area clean and protected of the elephants around. The night before we arrived we received a warm welcome. The place is located in Habarana in a very peaceful environment. Right in the middle of nature you will find peace of mind and get the chance to relax. Nice big pool. Breakfast was very delicious. Traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. We loved the time and will definitely come back. The room has all the facilities which are necessary.

Isuru and Samadhi are fantastic hosts. From the moment we arrived they made us feel welcomed. They are very attentive and attended to all our needs. The bungalow is spacious, comfy and nicely laid out. The photos on the wall are taken by Isuru himself and are absolutely stunning, he’s one talented photographer! Samadhi cooked amazing Sri Lankan breakfast and dinners and had no issues making them vegetarian for us. We stayed 3 nights, booked a half day and full day safari through the accommodation and we loved every minute of it. Wilpattu is an incredible park filled with lots of wildlife. We also did the walking tour with Isuru and got to see the local farming/land practices and that was good fun, be sure to do it. Isuru and Samadhi are a beautiful couple and we wish them all the best in their new journey with Safaria Lodge.

The place is owned by a family living nearby. The guy who mostly took care of us was very helpful, always communicating. He drove us to Sigirya and manage a driver to the Kadulla safari which was very memorable - beautiful day and lots of elephants 😊 Breakfast and dinner made by the family was local and very delicious. Also there was a shy elephant marauding each night around our tree house.

Place was beautiful. And the rooms were very clean. Place is owned by a Family and their son runs the resort. Uncle and Aunty were very friendly. The room we bought(for 4 people) is a separate part of the house they live in. But was isolated properly. Eventhough we checked in very late they were very welcoming. We didnt order any food from them so can't evaluate that. Overall a very comforting, secure place. Highly Recommend for a Family or a Group of Friends.❤️

You can spend four hours to visit the ancient city for a really acceptable price Would recommend strongly to do it.

I believe this guest house is ideal for people doing a Wilpattu Safari: - it is located right next to the park entrance. - it is not luxurious, but who needs a luxurious hotel if you are going to spend the entire day on safari anyway? - the AC worked great, the bed slept well and it has an ensuite shower and toilet. - they were happy to supply lunch and breakfast for the safari, and prepare dinner as well. I ate very well there. - the hostess was very kind and happy to help with questions. - if you are lucky you may already spot some animals from your window! I saw a wild peacock and monkeys. But apparently elephants also sometimes roam through nearby fields.
