Hello everyone. This is my first time in Banlung and I want to share my personal experience of the place I am staying right now. The day I came here in Banlung, I found a very nice and peaceful place. I didn’t think I would stay here for one week. I was planning to stay for two days and leave, but the place I am staying is too beautiful, peaceful and the owner of the place is very kind and helpful. His wife and daughter are both very nice and welcome you with a smile. A few days ago, I found out that my ATM card wasn’t working internationally. So I told the owner of the place and he helped me to get some money in Cambodia. There are many nice examples of how they helped me. As a solo traveller, things are a bit difficult to manage alone, but this homestay helped me a lot and guided me to nice tourist places in Banlung. I highly recommend this place if you guys are coming here for the first time, because this place is super cheap, affordable and has a nice view. And sorry about my English, it isn’t good enough to explain.

I was made welcome as soon as I arrived. Room was very nice and such good value for money. Peaceful place even with it being next to the lake where there was much singing and dancing and fireworks for the water festival (Bon Om Touk). Green and lush surroundings. I ordered my chicken fried rice when I arrived for 4 hours later. 4 hours later I was eating chicken fried rice.
