The lodge is modern, super comfy, and Akira along with the whole team were fantastic. Even though we visited at the end of the season and were the only guests, they made sure we had everything we needed. Every morning, they prepared breakfast just for us, and we absolutely looooved every dish. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Situated in Myoko, 31 km from Zenkoji Temple and 33 km from Nagano Station, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation has a spa bath. Papa was so lovely. It was a beautiful traditional guest house. I had breakfast too and it was lovely. I also really appreciated lifts too and from ski school and to the train station. It was honestly such a beautiful stay and I will be back. For any solo travellers, it was a very family vibe and I felt very welcome. Thank you Papa!

Very practical hotel for ski holidays. located 5 minutes walk from main lift to tracks. hotel rent skiing equipment and takes care of ski pass...we were already skiing one hour after our arrival

Villa Orange Cabin is set in the Fujikawaguchiko Onsen-kyo district of Fujikawaguchiko, 5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, 7.4 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 28 km from Mount Fuji. This 1-star villa offers free shuttle service and luggage storage space. The villa offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Everything! Such a cosy place to stay, it’s slightly out of the town but we rented bikes at the property and cycled in, there is also a bus route and the accommodation even provide pick up. Amazing place, one of my favorite parts of my trip to Japan! The lady that worked there was really friendly and helpful

At Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets, free shuttle services are provided to and from local supermarkets and Hakuba Station during the winter season. Ski storage is available at the reception house. Clean apartment, good location. It’s nearby restaurants and minimart. Free parking. In the dry room has washing machines but need to pay 300 yen including wash and dry. Everything is perfect in this place we stay 6 nights for snowboarding trip. We booked one bedroom apartment for 3 people, the room is big enough for 3 messy girls. So absolutely recommend.

There is a shared lounge at this property and guests can go skiing and cycling nearby. Our favourite thing about the property was the wonderful and welcoming host, Yuki. He was extremely helpful and it is thanks to him and his mother that Marushige is run so brilliantly. Our room was traditional Japanese style and extremely cosy - although we were sleeping on futons on the floor we were very warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and all of the other guests were very respectful. The location was perfect for both getting to the slopes on foot, visiting local onsens and getting dinner along the Main Street. One night we had dinner at Marushige and it was fantastic, we ate some very refined local cuisine - they even served us a local delicacy of horse meat sashimi (I have to admit that I could not eat it as I don’t really eat meat but my husband tried it).
