The house is absolutely lovely, everything you need just like being at home. Great disabled facilities too. Lovely location only 15 minutes from Nurney and not much further to Kildare (great shopping village similar to Bicester outlet and Tesco for essentials!) and Newbridge. The house is spacious and a good sized drive and outdoor area. Lovely seeing the cows out of the window each day. Check out was easy. Thank you so much for having us, we had a fabulous time made even better by great accommodation. We will be back!

Lovely spacious cottage in back garden, was exceptionally clean and very well appointed with everything you need. The location was very good with shops nearby, Dublin only 35kms away and easy to access by train if you don't want to drive in. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing read two books, ran twice in the grounds of the estate. Plenty of walks by the liffey. A real escape from modern life. Breda (the lodge warden) was fantastic, helpful, friendly and a mine of information.

Situated in the countryside of County Kildare The Lodges at Kilkea Castle is set in 180 acres of its own woodland and gardens. A 12th-century castle, Kilkea Castle is one of the oldest inhabited castles in Ireland with a history dating back to 1180. Designated parking is available. I loved everything about my stay. Andrew from the bar was great and loved joking around with us. Glen at the restaurant had us all laughing. The receptionist at check in was really accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed a day of golf, loved the scenery, the last day we were there some of the staff were setting up for a wedding and let us in to take a look.

A loving family, and gave me extra info about the area :) Easy check in and comfortable place. Adored the wood burner and lamps for evening ambience. Waking up with bright sunrise in the windows, very light and high ceilings. Lots of blankets and cushions, 2 sofas, very comfortable. Would love to return in the future for a longer stay!
