The view from the huts is absolutely stunning, and our bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every day - and we loved the thoughtful touch of getting a little extra treat each morning featuring traditional food. The owners really pay attention to detail and also offer a variety of activities for guests (at an additional cost). We tried a few and enjoyed them, but we were just as happy relaxing on our terrace. Such a calming and beautiful place - can highly recommended!:) P.S. We had an amazing stay at Ariel Bungalows. Anya and his family are so kind and welcoming. The food was always delicious and the surroundings are so beautiful. We did the walking tour with Anya and it was great - he knows so many people in the local area so we could stop and help harvest the rice, have local coffee etc. Our stay was my highlight of our time in Indonesia. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The shower is hot. After being in the very hot humid Gili islands we were worried about not having aircon but the temperature in Tetebatu is very nice and cool in the evening. There are also not many mosquitos.

We stayed at Ila Homestay before our 2 day, 1 night trek to the Senaru Crater Rim. It was clean and comfortable. The family is so nice and welcoming. We also booked our trek through them and enjoyed it thoroughly! The guide was very informative and professional. The food throughout the trek was amazing and the porters work so hard to carry all your food and camping gear. Everything was so well done. Highly recommend this homestay!

After our Rinjani hike we stopped to ask if we could pay a small fee to take a shower and they let us into one room to clean ourselves. So nice of them! Plus the view of the rice terraces and mountains is so nice!

Location is great, and strategically placed.
