It's remote enough to give you the peace and quiet you want from a vacation, yet still accessible enough to go on day trips. The cabin is very well built and tastefully decorated. The bed upstairs is super comfortable. The outdoor space is huge, and nicely organized. We especially enjoyed the swings. There is an air conditioning unit upstairs which easily cools the entire cabin when used smartly. We had almost everything we needed and the host brought what was missing in the first 2 days. For a couple of nights or a long weekend, it's a great choice.

Forest House Niko truly lives up to its name. It is a wonderful little piece of heaven. The house itself is fantastic, with a blend of modern and traditional design, lots of wood, and natural elements. It is supreme in cosiness, calmness and greenery. The surrounding area is a bliss as well, a small forest which an easy entrance to the river Kupa which is lovely for baths. Everything was extremely good!

The owner is very kind and helpful, and it's nice to converse with him. We slept in a cabin in the woods, with a fully equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook almost anything. Value for money is incredible honestly. By car, the cabin is 5 minutes away from Slunj, 30 minutes away from Plitvice Lakes. We found this very comfortable. The cabin also has a fire place you can utilize, and AC if you prefer that.

Lovely large terrace :) and a cosy interior. A nice restaurant just minutes away on foot. Wifi, Max TV, Netflix. Two parking spaces. Wonderful, caring hosts! New bathroom and kitchen.

Was a great stop on our way back to Zagreb airport, so glad that we were able to stay here for a night. Definitely could have stayed longer, comfortable accommodations, and the necessities for cooking, a great hang-out space in the basement and swings/toys for the kids.
