We had been camping for quite a few days and we were so looking forward to a hot shower and a soft bed, but this really exceeded our expectations. We loved this cosiness of the appartment and were so delighted to find bath robes, slippers and some extras. The handwritten card was also so nice and not to mention the view! I could sit by the window all evening and just stare outside. Will definitely visit again sometime!

A beautiful view out, quiet little beach area with picnic table to watch the local Seals. John was so very friendly, but also gave us privacy too, a perfect balance. The cabin was toasty warm even though it was windy and cold outside. The ability to wash clothes was a huge bonus for us...and a pair of binoculars to gaze out.

It is close to downtown in a quiet neighborhood so you're close to everything without being in the middle of everything!

The kitchenette features a stovetop, fridge and toaster, as well as a coffee machine. The acommodation was excellent, outside of portree so you were in nature with an amazing view of the remote skye. We even got the opportunity to watch the nightsky shine bright on our vacation. The accommodation itself was really comfortable and had everything we could have wished for. The owner even initially supplied us with tea, milk, eggs and butter which provided comfort after a long journey. If you don't know what to do on Skye there was a detailed map of the island along with different information booklets.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 31 km from Dunvegan Castle. We travelled around Scotland and this was by far our favourite accommodation. It was beautifully decorated and in the most scenic location, just like the photos. Very well equipped with all the facilities you could need and not far from Portree town. The communication was great and easy contactless check in and out. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it and hope I can visit again some day.

Ronnie is a great host, the lodge is new, spacious and well equipped! there's washer and dryer to be used. We we were welcomed with whisky and gin and eggs from the hosts' chicken!
