The Lodge is so comfortable and well-thought-out, with everything you could need and plenty of space. Bed was really comfy. The view was incredible, and the vineyard so lovely with a picturesque lake to walk round. We even had fantastic weather in which to sit out, relax and have a barbecue, which is amazing for early April. Lots of great places to visit just a short drive away. Sharon and Peter were wonderful, friendly hosts. A real hidden gem and we were reluctant to leave! A marvellous place - can't wait to stay again.

Got a complimentary upgrade from a hut to a wagon/carriage which was warm and very comfy! Literally a 4 min walk to the local pub that was very nice food and atmosphere
