Instead, someone was at the property to meet us and provide a short orientation. Water for the shower and taps is heated using the wood burning stove, so it was necessary to light the fire, and it had been a while since we had practiced this special skill. The host personally showed us her method and provided us a personal bbq with which we were unfamiliar. They don't have these in the US. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet we were only a few minutes from a village with a grocery, restaurant and nice parks.

Absolutely blown away, photos don’t do it justice. Facilities were great, the cabin we stayed in was awesome and just the right size. Area is beautifully designed and done very well, you can see how much love goes into the place. Ann and Dougie were very welcoming & kind, giving us a tour of the place and lots of information for our stay. Games room was perfect, lots of different games to play and a great place for kids and adults.

Located 10 minutes’ drive from Aberdeen city centre, Aberdeen Serviced Apartments offers self-catering, modern accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free public parking. Exceptionally clean, functional and well equipped. I arrived at short notice because my son was taken ill at work on a North Sea platform. The apartment gave me a bolt hole from the hospital and Richard was kind enough to give me a flexible date to leave depending on my son’s recovery. I could not have asked for better.
