Being surrounded by nature and welcomed onto the Reindeer Farm with the most lovely hosts, Andrew and Clare. The lodge itself was extremely tidy, cosy, clean, well-equipped and a great size for my group of four. We all had the best sleeps as well, the beds and pillows were so comfortable and it was lovely and quiet, apart from the odd sheep, but that made it all the more special. We looooved the vistas out the sliding doors and the tour of the reindeer farm was a huge bonus! I will be telling my friends about this one and encourage them to visit and stay here as it is the perfect location to explore the Cotswold surrounds as well.

As the owner notes, it isn’t a “hotel-neutral” stay—it’s a true home. My friend and I came for a few days to completely switch off and it delivered: tranquil, scenic, and blissfully quiet. The lodge is welcoming and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need. It’s not modern or ultra-contemporary, but that’s part of its charm. We loved our stay and hope to return early next year.
