Located in Plumbland and only 25 km from Derwentwater Lake, Lake District Luxury Lodge provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything. We stayed here before and are already booked to return. Immaculately clean, everything you could need, a lovely welcome pack and excellent, efficient and friendly booking and communication. Nothing is too much trouble. Cannot recommend this Lodge highly enough. Additionally, the view from the Lodge is spectacular.

Lake District Woodland Pods - Winster, Bowness-on-Windermere is located in Winster and provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi, 5 km from World of Beatrix Potter and 43 km from Derwentwater... This stay was absolutely gorgeous! It was so clean, warm and cosy! We had everything we needed here and it was so peaceful! Definitely would recommend here 😁

Located 44 km from Housesteads Roman Fort, 46 km from Brougham Castle and 12 km from Carlisle Railway Station, Grasmere Lodge Unit 31 provides accommodation set in Carlisle. Everything about it was lovely. Warm and comfortable. We travelled with our adult son who has mobility issues, but he managed well in the unit. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Situated in Carlisle and only 33 km from Thirlwall Castle, Squirrel Lodge (Unit 7) features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Wow! This place was absolutely perfect. Large rooms, super comfy beds and two separate bathrooms. Only booked one night, wished we'd booked more. Easy to get to, GPS in car was wrong, parking great. Super quiet site (no road noise) and facilities were fantastic. Clearly a very well looked after property.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Lune Cottage nestled between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales is situated in Tebay. Booked for one night at extremely short notice (huge thanks to Kiran for accommodating us) en route to Scotland, and would happily have stayed longer if time had allowed. The cottage is in an idyllic location and had everything we needed, including a private balcony seating area. Would love to go back with more time to explore the surrounding area.

Woodpecker lodge, Camelot Holiday Park, CA6 5SZ, a property with a terrace, is set in Carlisle, 45 km from Housesteads Roman Fort, 46 km from Brougham Castle, as well as 12 km from Carlisle Railway... Location as we were driving back from Scotland and it was on the way. And the woman who owns the park whom lives up front was so so plesent. We had difficulty getting in and to our rental ( cell service I didn't get the instructions to get in until we were on wifi) it was late but she was so nice and came out and walked us to the building and helped up get in. I know it was an inconvenience, late, school night, freezing outside. But she didn't make us feel like we were an inconvenience. She was so sweet and helpful.
