The family that runs it is so nice and welcoming. The food and coffee was amazing and the location is within walking distance from the giant tortoise reserve. The view is wonderful and it feels like a slice of paradise!

Julia was really nice and kind. It was the best warm welcome in 2,5 months! The bed was really big and comfortable. The location was good. 10 minutes walk from the ferry, but really quite place to sleep well. Also close to the centre of the town, 5 minute walk. I really recommend this place! Julia even came out of bed to give us a sandwich for breakfast when we had to leave at 5am for the ferry.

I loved my time at Chez Manany! The property is beautiful! It's walking distance to the harbor where all the tours/ferries leave from. It's also walking-distance to an amazing free snorkeling spot. There was no AC but we didn't need it. We were very comfortable. The wifi was fast too. Martha didn't speak English, but we were able to communicate via translator apps, and the owners reached out to let me know they'd be able to help if needed. Martha was SO NICE and accommodating. It was a 15 minute walk to town where the restaurants are. We paid to rent bikes in town since one of the bikes at Chez Manany was out of order. Would recommend, and would stay here again.

Pepe is an excellent host, his place feeling more like a meticulously clean homestay. He can arrange excursions at unbeatable prices and the nearby restaurant opposite the church uphill is maybe the best on Galapagos.

This is a dangerous and filthy place! At the end, we didn't stay through the night. Now this might be an incident that unfortunately happened to us. If you do consider booking this cabin, keep in mind that you have lack of privacy during the day and a lot of noise 24/7. The restaurant that comes with Don Jorge, has its terrace in front of the cabin. During the day, there's likely people sitting & chatting there. Better not sleep in... Since it is close to the beach, you'll have a lot of tresspassers and noise the whole day as well. And in the evening, there was very loud karaoke going on nearby. We went to Hotel Romy instead. It is on the other side of town, has the same price but way better rooms and much less noise. The owners are lovely and make sure you have the best time. Yes, it's farther away from the beach, but a taxi ride is just 2 dollars.

Our room was even larger and nicer than we expected and included a kitchenette and veranda. Meals were restaurant quality. Our host and his staff were very attentive. They do an excellent job managing the property. Had we not been on a tight travel schedule, we would have stayed there longer.

Very warm welcome. We were made to feel at home and enjoyed a really nice breakfast. Being slightly outside the main town (Puerto Ayora) made it feel very tranquil. Lovely green surroundings with beautiful flowers and banana trees!
