I arrived after having an accident dislocating my shoulder. Patrick went well beyond expectations. Offered the room for an extra night. Helped me getting the sling back after having a shower. Even provided me with dinner when I wasn’t in a state to go out. And he drove me to the train station the next day, at noon, so i could continue my journey in my disabled state. A brilliant host

Amazing views from the glass windows, very homely peaceful neighbourhood. Both homes and both rooms were exact same so there were no fights between friends for the better rooms :) The couch in the living room opened up into a very big comfortable bed. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and we ended up cooking breakfast and dinner every night. The living room was huge and had nice natural lighting. The porch had a grill and table too! Was also convenient to have two bathrooms. Since we had cars, it was a good base to explore all the cities in the Rhine and Moselle valley over 5 days. The hosts were very communicative over chat. And we missed them coz we were out exploring but they were sweet enough to come by to check in on us.

We were welcomed by the owner even if we arrived late in the evening and she gave us the key to the property. The property was above the description and we had everything we needed, for us and for our four-legged friend Sara. The host helped us with local info tailored to the short time we could spare to visit the area. She knew the area very well and picked the right places for us to visit, turning our work trip into a small holiday as well. Also, even if it is a small town, you can easily access supermarkets like Kaufland and Lidl, which helps a lot with self-catering, especially if you're from outside Germany. And at the local gas station, there is a really wonderful bakery, so you have everything you need easily accessible.
