Absolutely fantastic. The sunset views in a hot tub with sparkling wine and the sounds of birds - memories will last forever. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. Wauw!! What an amazing place! Located on a hill with views of the forrest towards the sea. Big spacious room which was perfect for us (family of 4) Staff was very friendly. Tarcoles, was for us a stop on our way to Manuel Antonio, but the place is definitely worth staying more nights.

This was the best accommodation experience of our trip to Costa Rica. To say that this family is friendly would be a huge understatement, they are THE LOVELIEST HOSTS and were kind enough to tell us the whole story of their property, their region, their family... Heyner and Jenny welcomed us after 8pm with an awesome dinner, gave us a tour of the cabin, made us breakfast every day, introduced us to their volunteers, etc. They truly let us into their daily lives and welcomed us as if we were family, for real! I would return to the Muñequita Lodge again and again, if I could, even as a volunteer. The tour that Heyner suggested for Corcovado was 100% worth it, and they can also take you in the jungle with their horses for those who like horses 🐴 Cherry on top: Jenny's meals that were fantastic, muchissimas gracias a ustedes 💕

We loved the beautiful forest surroundings around our treehouse! Although we knew there were other treehouses close by, giving us a sense of security, our view from our treehouse itself was total jungle, giving us a private jungle vibe with no other treehouses or buildings within view of us. It was such a cool experience! We were lucky to have 2 sunny mornings so we woke up slowly, lying in bed, enjoying the dappled sunlight peaking through our jungle view from the vast windows. I loved Monteverde and hope to go back and when I do, I'll stay here again!
