We loved living in the jungle! The view from the bungalow was green and calming. The staff were warm and very helpful. Breakfast area lovely and food good. It was a nice sanctuary after a busy day. Exceeded all expectations. Thank you to the staff for all their help. Beautiful well maintained grounds. We saw more animals in the yard than in a national park. Lots of hummingbirds, a raccoon came between 10am and 11, and a family of Capuchin monkeys came every day around 2pm. It was a lot of fun to watch them.

The property is absolutely stunning. The beach is 5-10 minutes away through the jungle. The long house we stayed is was very unique and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Wonderful property and owners. A garden oasis. Steps from the beach and a quiet road. 10 min walk to a number of restaurants and good grocery store. We had a cabin and it was wonderful and fully equipped. Great pool, quiet garden, lots of animals. Marise very responsive and offered helpful advice. We’re returning!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. Phantastic location and really big house, which was very much appreciated. Also great host, who was always available in case of questions or recommendations.
